Programs For Women Owned Business 


There are many special programs available for women-owned businesses. Here are a few examples:

The Women’s Business Ownership Act of 1988 created the Office of Women’s Business Ownership within the Small Business Administration (SBA). The SBA offers a variety of resources and programs to help women entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses.

The Women’s Business Center Network provides training, counseling, and other resources to women entrepreneurs. The network has over 100 centers across the country.

The Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) is a certification organization that helps women-owned businesses get access to government contracting opportunities.

The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) is a national organization that provides resources and support to women entrepreneurs. NAWBO has over 100,000 members.
